I'll be 72 in a few days!!!
So far, we've gone to Pasadena, California to enjoy our time. I really enjoyed Pasadena, as it was much cooler than Peoria Arizona this time of year.
We were able to walk around in relative coolness, due to the "June Gloom" as the locals refer to the hazy skies.
We stayed at the Weston Pasadena, and the views from our 12th floor room certainly did not disappoint. This is the Pasadena City Hall, beautiful building.
Our goals for this trip were:
1. Huntington Gardens and Museum
2. Reagan Presidential Library and Museum
3. Nixon Presidential Library and Museum
We also wanted to see (Gamble House) built by the Gamble family of Proctor & Gamble fame. Architects Greene and Greene. We didn't think we would have time, but it worked out!!
We really enjoyed the city of Pasadena, exploring Old Town Pasadena a little too.
Driving in the LA area is frightening for me. Ed drove, but I was very uncomfortable with all the traffic and maze of roads.
