The longest year ever - 2021

A quick look back at a difficult year...

Our huge problem this year was dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.  We had to learn how to cope with staying home quite a bit and with wearing masks a lot.  We needed to learn how to keep safe (get vaccines) and how to deal with loved ones and others who did not believe it was serious.  We learned how to worry about our kids more than normal.

Things I'm better at now:

Zoom meetings!  I even participated in a Zoom baby shower for Tina Gallo Troy.

Face Time:  I frequently Face Time with Joey, thank goodness!

I've learned to shop online, even for my groceries.  I've had lots of deliveries - some not very successful!

Movies were pretty much shut down, so we went through the drive-in options in front of the movie theaters and purchased movie huge bags of popcorn to eat at home as we watched TV movies.

Vaccinations were beginning in February for our group, over 65 with comorbidities.

Statefarm Stadium was open for mass vaccinations, and that's where we went.

February 24th we ordered our red Tesla 2021 Model Y

I'm trying to get this to "left align" but it will not cooperate.

Anyway, Ed hike and hiked and hiked.  He became president of the Trilogy Hiking Club

2021 May

Its starting to get warm here in Phoenix.  Was over 100 yesterday, but today is a little cooler.

We're still getting over the pandemic, although only about 37% of Americans are vaccinated.   This is going to go on for a while.

I'm going to throw in a few photos I'm enjoying recently.
