2015 Panama Canal Cruise

We are looking forward to this trip so much!  I've read many books, blogs, and articles, visited exhibits at the Library of Congress, all with something to offer about The Panama Canal 😀. 

Nerd fun!  

Often attributed to Teddy Roosevelt, I can see lots of countries and lots of people contributed to this engineering marvel. 

Sadly, lots of people also gave their lives too.  

This is a pretty long cruise. Ed has worked hard to get his work caught up prior to his departure from work for so long a time. 

Hunting for the next home

One thing we're looking for is a good location.  

Near Amanda, but far enough not to impose.  Tougher than you may think!

We're trying to figure out the best way to accomplish this move.   This is our 6th home purchase in 43 years, the 4th state we've lived in. A new adventure!

Wow, 2015 already? How did that happen?

Here we are - flying off to Arizona to see our kids for the Christmas Holidays!  We are so excited and happy to be going.  

We're enjoying the Phoenix Zoolights - look how cold it is in Phoenix this Christmas!  This was awesome and beautiful.  They did a lot of work here to make it so lovely. Love these kids! (all 3 of them!)

Parting is such sweet sorrow!  I photographed the ascent of our plane, although I don't know the names of the mountains you can see.  Ed says I will learn those names when we live there.  Always a challenge!
