As we move forward...

Its a great Sunday afternoon here. We've been working quietly around the house today. We are getting ready for a major life change, we have decided to move about 3,000 miles away. So, we are preparing our home for the move, we are sorting and discarding no longer needed things etc. There are about a million decisions to be made on a daily basis and the stress can be tough. I have sorted through some books and personal items today, cleaned a bathroom, cleaned out some major dust and cleaned out 1 drawer that badly needed it.
I am thankful for today, really thankful. I have time today to reflect and I'm lucky to have that luxury. I will aim to hold onto this thankfulness through the coming turbulence of the next year.

So, this is day two of my new Blog. We managed to do water aerobics this evening, which is a good thing. Feels great to be in the water. I feel like a "Short Timer" at work because of my impending departure. Strange to leave a good job though, gives me a funny unsettled feeling. Well, I'm sure I'll find something more interesting to do, besides becoming the "trailing spouse." Ugh.

No wonder I feel unsettled, I certainly am unsettled.....temporary problem I'm hoping. I thing I'll just relax and go with the flow.....might even be a real blast.

Nothing will be too bad.
