The Field Engineer's Update
So, here is the July 2nd photo:
At least it has a sign visible with our lot #2489.
This one (below) is the initial photo we were sent: by Vicki
Hmmmm, same lot? I don't think so.
I think that house on the left looks suspiciously similar to the house on the right in top photo.
Here below is Eric's update of 7/17/2015:

The Arizona Saga
Ed is in Puerto Rico tonight, and I really miss him. I've gone through the latest paperwork from the builder, and it's OK, but not perfect. I'm anxious for Ed to review it too.
This is a different kind of journey. We are looking forward to the new home.

Construction Begins
Well, this was emailed to us by our Sales Rep. Taken June 15, 2015, although her meta data disagrees with that data.
I can see the neighborhood is beginning to take shape. It's amazing really.
We're excited!

Design Center Appointment - Putting the pieces together.
This is our color scheme on the model home. What a gorgeous day in the Velley!
On the left is our porcelain tile selection. Taupe cabinet color, black glaze. We changed our the hardware though.
Our chandelier.
There must be at least 8,000 decisions to be made in two days.
Thank God Amanda and Todd were there to help us. It was partly fun and partly scary as hell.
And it costs about two and a half times as much as you think it will. And it's kind of amazing.

New Beginnings
Next week we're going to Arizona to begin the process of making our home in the Southwest.
We're both nervous and excited, a delightful state to enjoy!
Looks like weLl have cacti near us.
Amanda and Todd were kind enough to help us via FaceTime.
Here they are in the model home.
Trisha and Joey were there too! I love our team collaborative approach.
Anyway, we will be making the choices that will help begin to make our new house into our new home. I think it'll be a nice place to live. I'll enjoy being near Amanda and Todd, but I hate that is is so far from Joey. Hopefully we'll get to see him often.
